I've grouped these prompts together because they all strike me as the more light-hearted end of the spectrum of things I've requested. That being said, please go in whatever direction you are inspired by! If you have a darker fic idea for any of these pairs, please go as far as you wish in exploring that.
It's probably pretty obvious that I lean toward fantasy settings, so I imagine the Military Officer/Loyal Subordinate against a similar backdrop. Use whatever fantastical/magical military hierarchy you might wish, though! Loyalty comes up as a theme for several of these prompts. You can explore what initially inspired that loyalty, or touch on the ways it's difficult to care for someone who doesn't care for themselves as much as they should.

The Knight who meets a Mage/A Cursed Princess, how does she react to this new person? Does it force her to re-evaluate what she was doing before. Was she previously suspicious of magic users, or does she sympathise with the cursed princess when she isn't supposed to?
How do the Soldiers feel? Do they love, like or admire the Swashbuckler/Foreign Princess, or do they resent them for making them feel things they aren't supposed to feel? Perhaps it's a complex mixture of all those things. What kind of decisions are they going to be forced to make?
What does the Mercenary think of the Exiled Empress? Does she support her claim at all, or is it Just Another Job? And how does the Empress handle a mercenary unwilling to take her nonsense? Does she grow from the experience, or does it only make her worse?

How does the Queen intend to treat her new bride/prize? Is she going to mistreat her to make some kind of statement, or just for her own personal pleasure? Or does she demand loyal adoration from her new bride, regardless of how the bride actually feels about her situation? Perhaps the Queen thinks she can break her brides spirit/mind enough that it won't matter? On the other hand, how does the bride feel? Perhaps she likes the evil queen, or is at least attracted to her. Again, feel free to go as dark as you like with this! (For the prompt where the bride is actually intended for the queen's son, I'd love a dynamic where the son is actually still a child/too young to have anything expected of him, particularly if it means the poor bride is expected to act as though she "loves" him while still having to survive the Evil Queen's attention).
For the Princess Exile, does the Enemy Princess/Merchant Heir realise her true intentions, or is she wholly taking advantage of them? How does she feel about that? The theme that ties these prompts together, for me, is nefarious loyalty. There are terrible people in all of these prompts, but each one has someone or something they are dedicated to above everything else. What does that mean for each character involved?
For the Vengeful Victim, go as dark or as unreasonable as you like for their motivation. Does the Mentor fully understand how far the Victim is willing to go? Do they disapprove, or are they fully encouraging of their pupil's dark desires? Similarly, is the Ambitious Apprentice reluctantly willing to turn a blind eye to their Morally Gray Mentor for the sake of their ambitions, or do they actually admire that quality in their teacher?
For the Queen and her Writer, I love the idea of the vicious writer destroying the queen's enemies through sheer force of wit/cruel propaganda. Doubtless the queen has all kinds of enemies in court, and I love the idea of these two having a relationship of trust that's been built of the mutual benefit of tearing their enemies down together. Just the right amount of messed up to be delightful!
Finally, for Berserker/Officer, I imagine that everyone else sees the Berserker as a monstrous psychopath but the Berserker doesn't care because everything they do is for the sake of the Officer they're devoted to. It is entirely up to you whether or not the Officer actually sincerely loves the Berserker in return or if she's simply using that loyalty to achieve her own ends—or if it's a muddy mixture of both.
The important thing is, these relationships all feature characters showing terrible sides of themselves but doing it for some warped sense of "right"—whether that's love, loyalty or revenge!

As far as I'm concerned, you can go super fluffy or super dark with any of these. An assassin who can't help loving a super cute princess is crazy adorable, but an assassin who forces herself to eliminate a target who she knows doesn't deserve it is wonderfully bleak. I feel like all three of these prompts can be looked at that way—does the spy spend her days lamenting her bad case of the feels, or does she find herself betraying the woman she loves day after day? Does the Chosen One know her beloved is going to betray her one day, and does she love her anyway?
For Queen/Spy, does the spy ever admit her original intentions? If so, how does the queen respond? Is the spy only working for herself, or are there other people waiting for her information?
Princess/Assassin, see above! Does the assassin watch the princess from afar, or find some way to get closer to her? Is she compromising her employers by doing so, and does she care? If she fails to do her duty, will someone else come and finish the job—and if so, would she rather do the awful thing herself?
For Chosen One/Eventual Betrayer, how aware are these two of that relationship? Does the Betrayer know exactly what she intends to do and is waiting for the right time, or is this a future she hasn't foreseen? Does the Chosen One have some kind of foresight, and if so, does she think it's a future that can be changed? And hey, what exactly have they been Chosen to do, anyway? Why would the Betrayer want to betray them in the first place?
These prompts have a lot of punch packed into their small descriptions. Have fun with it, go with as many layers as you want!

For Queen/Spy, does the spy ever admit her original intentions? If so, how does the queen respond? Is the spy only working for herself, or are there other people waiting for her information?
Princess/Assassin, see above! Does the assassin watch the princess from afar, or find some way to get closer to her? Is she compromising her employers by doing so, and does she care? If she fails to do her duty, will someone else come and finish the job—and if so, would she rather do the awful thing herself?
For Chosen One/Eventual Betrayer, how aware are these two of that relationship? Does the Betrayer know exactly what she intends to do and is waiting for the right time, or is this a future she hasn't foreseen? Does the Chosen One have some kind of foresight, and if so, does she think it's a future that can be changed? And hey, what exactly have they been Chosen to do, anyway? Why would the Betrayer want to betray them in the first place?
These prompts have a lot of punch packed into their small descriptions. Have fun with it, go with as many layers as you want!
GENERAL LIKES: "Us against the world" mentality, rampant bisexuality, enemies-to-friends/lovers, "I don't like you but you're the only one who understands", casefic, mundane activities in fantastical settings, age gaps that don't necessarily reflect maturity levels.
DARK LIKES: Anything goes! Non-con is fine, dubious consent is excellent. Don't mind underage, don't mind incest. Go wild!
